Synopsis
Young Amal flees war-torn Syria. In a Turkish port, she meets Sam, a refugee smuggler. Amal wants to get to Greece, where her sisters are, and then join her parents in Sweden. The quick-witted but traumatized girl and Sam, who is older and jaded, travel across Europe together in search of freedom, gradually developing a father-daughter relationship...
